Museum<\/b> was founded in 1930 and it is housed (since 1970) in the impressive Miko fortress, the oldest and most important historical monument of Miercurea Ciuc city. In this museum there are five permanent exhibitions, two of them being organized on the ground floor, the others on the first floor.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">Right at the entrance, on the left side, we have an exhibition with 4 rooms dedicated to <b>the history of the Miko fortress<\/b> where we can observe the original floor discovered after the in-situ excavations as well as remnants of the kitchen of the castle used for\ncooking food for officers. Here we can also find the fountain of the fortress, as well as the bastion with military vestments, armor and weapons. \nThe second exhibition located on the ground floor and entitled <b>\u201cthe pace of time\u201d<\/b> is arranged over 4 halls. We\u2019ll find in these halls, among other things, the first documents attesting the existence of communities on these lands and the document attesting the title of the city dating from 1558<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\"><b>The Franciscan\u2019s life<\/b> is also represented in one of these rooms and there is also a room dedicated to fairs, which were organized on Wednesday (\u201cMiercurea\u201d in Romanian), hence the name of the city, the Hungarian word \u201cCsik\u201d meaning stripe, from the city settlement as a stripe between the mountains. We can see here objects that were sold in the fair as well as a <b>numismatic collection<\/b> specific to those times, but there is also a 3D representation of an old fair.
